Dr Guanmes borders on malpractice every day. She is useless. Whenever she fills in for Dr. McLean (who is great) she becomes a denying witch. She refuses to renew refills that you may have been taking for years. In the last ten years I have had to deal with her in McLeans absence several times; usually for a routine drug renewal. She almost always says no and to wait for your own Dr. On the rare occasion where she did authorize a refill of a drug I've taken for YEARS and she can see that on my chart she only wrote a script for 14 days costing me more money than a 90 script in co-pay.

I've been with Dr. McLean for 15 years and I like him but I am considering changing Drs because of this wicked witch.. She needs to be brought up on malpractice charges and if I ever get a chance I will.

Had a terrible experience with dr Guarnes........found I had nodes on my thyroid, and a mediastinal tumor. Asked dr to order a biopsy, and she threw a hissy fit, and said she didn't think it was necessary, wanted to wait 3 months and check it again. When I said I really wanted to know now if it was cancer, she told me to find another dr if I didn't trust her. I did, and am Having my biopsy next week. I don't understand why a doctor would want to sit and wait on such an important issue. Love my new doc!!!!!
