Saginaw Township Fire Department provides fire suppression and emergency services for Saginaw Charter Township in Saginaw, Mich. The department s central office is located at 4930 Shattuck Road, near the Saginaw Township Hall and government offices. Saginaw Charter Township is located in Saginaw County in Michigan and has a population of more than 40,000. The township was formed in 1831 and incorporated in 1857. The area now comprising Saginaw Charter Township is the remnant of what was originally a large tract of land encompassing what now includes more than four counties.
