Established in 2001, High Country Elementary School provides educational and enrichment programs to students from kindergarten through grade five. The school has a faculty of more than 40 full-time teachers and over 20 support personnel. It has a library media center, cafeteria and a parents-teachers association. The school offers academic classes in a range of courses, such as fine and performing arts, music, physical education, English, math, special education, science, life education and social studies. High Country Elementary School also provides transportation services and is operated by the Eagle Mountain-Saginaw Independent School District, which operates other intermediate, middle and high schools. It is located in Saginaw, Texas.
