Training is not a temporary act, it is a lifestyle no different than raising kids; just like you would want children to have manners we want dogs to have them as well.

Christy is an excellent dog trainer. She explains things in a very sensible way and gives you very good information/ideas and things that you can do to improve you dog's behavior. Anyone wishing to know more about dogs, why they behave the way that they do and how to get them to behave the way that YOU want them to should attend her classes.

We completed two classes with Christy at My Best Buddy. We all (puppy, husband and I) learned a ton and continue to practice what we learned all the time. Christy is patient and is so great to work with. Not only does she address all the items on the class "syllabus" but she will also address your individual needs as well. It is very clear that Christy loves what she does and truly cares about each student (both two legged and four!) I would highly recommend joining My Best Buddy for a class or two.

So far, the training has been great. We are only two weeks in, and my pup has showed great improvement in impulse control, waiting at doors, and leash skills. I highly recommend Christy and My Best Buddy.

Christy is great. She has helped me and my rescue dog so much. She understands dog, and human behavior, and is really helpful shifting the perspective on both. My dog Stewart and I are both much happier as a result of working with Christy and consistently implementing her methods!
