Derek Muehrcke, MD, FACS, is a founding partner of Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgical Associates, P.A., in Jacksonville, Florida, where he has practiced since 1996 after leaving The Cleveland Clinic. As Chairman of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery at Flagler Hospital, he started and developed its successful heart program. His expertise covers adult cardiac, thoracic, and endovascular surgery.
