I have 6 dogs, and have had many more in the past. I have never experienced the professionalism and compassion that I have received from Dr. Veling, Lori, Nick and Vanessa. My dogs have had many different issues, illnesses, infections, and surgeries. Palencia Pet Clinic have handled every one of them perfectly. Vanessa is the best pet sitter I have ever had, I can breathe easily knowing my dogs are taking care of by her when I am out of town. They truly care as much as you do. Dr. Pete is very caring, thorough and explains everything very clearly. He takes great care of our Sierra. We have never had better care or service from a vet anywhere.

We have one cat that is terrified of the vet office, but he has become fast friends with Dr. Veling, we have never seen him take to a human so fast. This particular cat has always been sick, at least once or twice per day for the last 3 years. On the first trip to Palencia Pet Clinic, Dr. Veling explained that it could be a chicken allergy, (almost all cat food has chicken of some sort in it), something no other vet has been able to help us with. We tried a chicken free food he carries and our cat was cured immediately! Never a problem since.



One last thing, Dr. Veling has been great explaining all "vet medical speak" to us in layman's terms. He appears to take great pride in his customers and patients. Even if you do not live nearby, drive the extra distance for the best vet you will ever have.
