Provided by YP.comI've been in 3 times over the last year or so for different needs. First was mounting & balancing a set of tires for my Jeep. No problems there. Second time was to patch a tire on my GF's car. No problem. Last time was yesterday to flip a tire so the correct sidewall was facing out. That went fine. Shop looks to be under new management and has been remodeled.

Provided by YP.comBy far the worse case of professionalism I have ever encountered. It literally took these guys 3 hours to change 4 tires,I was told that there was only 1 person in front of me,2 people who came in after me,left before me. I could get paid to visit this company, and I wouldn't come here again.!!!

Provided by YP.comBought new tires from this place for my wifes car. Once we drove off, we realized the new tires were not balanced. We took it back, they said the "forgot". Then they balanced them for us. Drove off. Same shaking. Went to Discount Tire on 16 and they took care of the problem and said that there were NO weights AT ALL put on the rim to balance them. I paid the money at Discount Tire then took my receipt STRAIGHT to OCT and was reimbursed by OCT. I'll never again do any business with these people. Supposedly they have new management now but I'd still be wary.

Provided by YP.comBEWARE! Poor business practice and customer service.
I had lost tire pressure and needed to replace both front tires asap. Went to Ol' City T. They had to special order tires for my Honda. I did not have the time to wait nor could I have driven the car. They talked me into purchasing 2 used tires. Employee:"They are almost BRAND NEW!" lol. I drove off the lot with my new used tires. After about 3 miles the low tire pressure light came on. I went back immediately. They said I had a TINY hole in one of the rears. They "plugged" it. I paid. I drove away and a few miles later the low pressure light was back on. I took it back and they said I damaged the tire and showed me a small bulge in one of the used front tires they had sold to me. They put on another used (almost new) tire and charged me for all three visits.....I had no choice since I needed the car. I would have been the first to admit that I scraped a curve, etc, etc. I did not touch a thing.....I was pretty contained but very upset when I left. I guess they lost a customer forever and I will not recommend them to anyone.

Provided by YP.comI have dealt with Old City Tire for over 20 years and before today have always been treated in a professional manner. Today I encountered the "Tire God", Richard Taylor. I was informed by the "Tire God" that I had flat spotted my three month old tires they had installed with my 4 wheel anti-lock brakes. I informed him this did not happen and it infuriated the "Tire God". He said the only thing he could do is put two new tires on at my cost. I said there had to be another reason for the tires being out of round. I was informed it was my fault and I should stop locking up my brakes. I went to the Goodyear store as these were Goodyear tires and told them what happened. They asked me if Richard had become senile. Upon their inspection of my vehicle I was informed the tires were not flat spotted but they were cupped. The cupping was caused due to ball joints and struts being worn out. If I had purchased the two new front tires from the "Tire God", the same problem would have come back in two to three months. I will never frequent this establishment again if Richard Taylor continues to be the Manager. I feel sorry for the fine people who work under him.
