Provided by YP.comJason, the owner, sold me a car for $6000 after telling me that the car's maintenance is up to date. Specifically, he assured me the timing belt had been replaced, which is quite an expensive fix. I bought the car, only to have to put $1400 worth of repairs into it just four months later - the vast majority of which were due to the car's maintenance being out of date. The timing belt was never replaced and was 30,000 miles overdue by the time I found out. All the drive belts needed to be be replaced as well, which would have been part of the timing belt replacement. Essentially, he lied to me on two different occasions just to get a sale (I called him a month after buying it and he still assured me everything was up to date). When I called him to confront him about this after I found out, he denied ever saying anything like that. NEVER EVER do business here!!!
What the customer fails to say is that he had an independent mechanic inspect the vehicle before purchasing the car. Customer sent same complaint to the Minnesota Better Business Bureau. The Minnesota BBB sided with me. I encourage anyone to get an independent mechanic to look over any vehicle prior to purchase. The Customer should have had all his questions & Concerns answered by the independent mechanic that he hired prior to sale. Don’t ask questions 40 days after the sale that you should have had with your mechanic prior to purchasing the car
