Today was the second time I choose to use Midwest driveshaft. Upon receiving my driveshaft everything appeared to be ok. I get home to install it and what do you know it is to short. When bolted to the differential the slip yolk did not even touch the trans. If your were wondering I was very upset, as it had already took 2 days longer than they said it would. The days prior I had to call to make sure it was even going to be done. The person in the office proceeded to tell me yes it would be done that day and they would give me a call when it was ready for pick up. What do you know they never called back so the next morning I call and they tell me o yeah it was ready yesterday. What croosed my mind was, wow thanks for the call you promised. I would like to note I live 45 miles away so this is quite a drive for me. So now now I have made 6 total trips to this shop to get the correct drive shaft. When I asked to get some of my Money back for there mistakes, he laughed at me and said that is not how things work. I have never met a company that does more to keep there customers unhappy. Call me stupid but I should have known that this was going to happen after the first driveshaft they made me for a seperat car was correct length but wrong slip yolk. Upon putting the car in gear because it had no ebrake the car rolled down my driveway backwards into one of my other cars. So all in all do your self a favor and do not het work done by them save your self the headaches and the high blood pressure and the want to mike Tyson punch someone in the face. Lets hope these welds are mot cold and this thing holds up.

I’m a dealership Mechanic in Kane Co. Midwest has serviced almost all my customers driveshaft’s for the last 20 years. They always do 5 star work. One time I had to use another driveline shop repair a shaft due to my former manager’s directions. The other guys took 4 days to do the job then the shaft vibrated … Boy an experience like that real helps solidifies who the pros are.

My most recent job took Midwest about 3 hours it was a 2 piece shaft off 2003 ford F-250 extended cab. The truck is smooth again. Take it from a pro Midwest is Best!!
