The food quality is amazing and the atmosphere is very welcoming and clean. I am a regular customer now since I fell in love with their Coconut shrimp bites.

I have been to this establishment a few times, they have alright food. I have eaten sushi and Japanese food from all parts of the country (including places like Nome, Alaska) and Sushi Yama rates at the bottom. For the Chicago area I believe that there are much better Japanese restaurants in the area.



Being there not to long ago with my wife and three year old we were completely ignored for almost all of our dinner. It was a Saturday night and when we arrived it took over 15 minutes for a waitress to approach us to even say hello. We ordered drinks and an appetizer, the beverages showed up but the appetizer was forgotten about.



To keep things short, the whole night consisted of me flagging down different waitresses over and over because no one would come to our table. Watching other customers walk in after us and get served before us really upset me, especially when I had a three year old to feed. Overall the food was ok, but the fact that we had no waitress for almost the entire dinner was a huge disappointment. I would strongly recommend driving a few extra miles and receiving much better service.
