This place has had 3 different landlords since January or more! If it wasnt for my disability I would have left before I did! The lady running the apartments now are precidous! All kinds of drug activity the robbing and the fact that anyone getting section 8 is automatically drapproved...The maintnance man was living in,a apartment there and they never even realized it! Its the worst place in St Charles city! I never recieved my deposit either!

It will look nice and sound nice but the management and tenant attention is horrible and you will pay in the end! Possibly with your life. In the year 2007 they pulled 13 people out of there in body bags. These are not a bunch of old people living here either. The illegal activity is out of control and the police do not care about the happenens in this apartment complex.

My brother lived in Courtland Ridge Apartments and he died in his own apartment. My brother���s apartment was broken into while he was home, he was brutally assaulted and died, he was only 39 years old .They robbed his apartment taking irreplaceable things and someone had taken his keys {to his vehicle, apartment and mailbox} and returned back into the apartment and began cleaning up the crime scene at some point before we had even discovered he has deceased. This is the only time any repairs had been done to in brother���s apartment and this was while he was laying there dead on his couch. Before any of this my brother was constantly complaining to management about fixing things in his apartment and could never get any of the repairs done. He constantly was complaining about the drug users and the dealers and tried to get out of his lease and they told him he had to finish the lease or be sued. My brother was 100% disabled veteran living on his Army disability and had moved there just to be closer to the V. A. Hospital and to be able to have a nurse visit his home, he could not afford to be sued.



I had not heard from my brother for about 6 days and went there to discover all this. Nothing was ever done about this horrific crime. How safe would you feel closing your eyes in this place knowing who ever participated in this is still out there free to walk the streets and continue to commit crimes? This just happened in 2007. Crimes still continue in this complex. How many more people���s lives are going to be effected by the undocumented violent crimes that go on in this complex? How many more people will lose there lives here and how long are the crimes going to continue to go unrecorded and swept under the table with out anyone taking notice to what is going on in this place? How many other will be treated as if they had no right to even exist at all. Be sure and inquire how many dead bodies have been pulled out of this complex in body bags the last couple of years, even though I know you will not get an honest answer. I have been told 2 different numbers and neither was a small amount. This I was told by authorities.



This sure does say a lot about the owners of Courtland Ridge Apartments. They allow viloent offenders to manage their buildings and knowingly allow them to continue there job even when innocent people are physically attached on their property by management. They have no interest to do anything about all the drugs that are moving thru here, have no interest in the amount of violence going on in there, the people getting hurt there so appairently they could care less about the people in general. Otherwise seems to me that they would at least try to make an effort to give people safe living conditions. This is not a safe place to live except maybe if you are a drug dealer.
