The wife and I booked the Barrister House earlier this year for my retirement party on Dec 5th.. 19 days before the event was suppose to happen we received a call from Barrister Gardens that the Barrister House was closed and Barrister Gardens now had our contract.. They said that even though they were losing money they would try to honor the contract but the day we had scheduled was already taken by someone else and we needed to pick a new day which was unacceptable.. We told them no and that we wanted our money back and the woman on the phone said good luck with that.. The Barrister House has turned off it's phones so we have no way of contacting them to get our money back so our only recourse it to try and take them to small claims court which we are looking into now..

No toast, re-served food Louis was unprofessional and demonstrated lack of decency. Watched him obnoxiously dip his cup into a chafing fish of corn in front of the bridal party and starting to grossly eat it. He must have been on drug. I looked inside the kitchen and wish I had a camera. Employees eating the cake and pizza while in the most horrendous kitchen I have seen in a long time. Do not even think of giving one dime to this place ..read these reviews and all of them ...even with Mention Louie..had the same experience.

We were there for a dinner dance and a birthday celebration. The gifts were stolen by the staff. Beware!!

This hall was ok as in looks, but the staff and owners were very unhelpful. It was all talk when it comes down to crunch time. We had our event in the summer and the hall was very hot. They should have been more prepared, it made me upset when several guest came to me complaining that it was so hot in the hall. We were given a lot of promises and they did not hold up thier end of the deal. I can say the food was good, but be careful if you are doing buffet style! My guest didn't even get a chance to have seconds!
