Provided by YP.comMy dog is a rescue also and she is 8 years old and she doesn't care to roll around and play so using the web cams they provide I saw they had locked my dog in a small area by herself for over an hour so I called to ask why and the young girl said because my dog was unsociable, that is not professional in my opinion. I do not think the care givers there are trained or professional most of them seem to be under 30 years old and not sensitive to the needs of the dogs or owners.

Provided by YP.comAbout a year ago the owner (Tony) was working with our rescue and then all of a sudden decided to end the relationship for what ever reason. This did make me upset and I did send an email expressing my dislike for him. Not the business. I am a paying customer who wishes to bring my rescue foster (currently have a severly abused scared/timid foster who cannot be crated) and this is how the owner responds.
BELOW IS A COPY OF THE EMAIL:
Wendy,
I understand you have started bringing dogs into Camp Bow Wow again. I do not want to do business with you. I thought you made that clear with me during your last correspondence. You are not welcome to bring any dogs to Camp Bow Wow St. Clair Shores.
Regards,
Tony Caruso

Provided by YP.comIt's great place for a day's fun or an overnight stay. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable and really loves dogs. You can ask for a tour and see (and smell!) for yourself how clean it is.
It's an opportunity to socialize your dogs with other dogs always a good idea and a help with many behavorial issues. It also great to burn off excess energy or weight. There are seperate spaces for the older or less active pets. If you've never seen your dog run and play with other dogs you have never really seen your dog in action. Check it out on the webcam. Can't say enough. My guys love it! !

Provided by YP.comI brought my dog to Camp Bow Wow for an "interview", which was basically a free daycare, and he was a nervous at first, but the staff was so friendly and all seemed to be true dog lovers. He was still a little nervous when I left, but you can watch you dog at home from camera's that they have in the play yards, and he was walking around, playing with other dogs!! I brought him back again for daycare and he wasn't nervous at all this time. I'm definately going to keep bringing my dog here. Plus the place was so clean! I'm definately happy I chose this place!!
