Do not hire Joshua the handyman. He started working for us in January of 2015 and was working out great for us......then something happened......he indicated he was starting his own business and it was going well and he knew that we were all for him doing his own business but he also needed to take care of his current customers. We were flexible with the work schedule for him - he could do it most of the time at his own pace. Then he started not contacting me for several days in a row; said he was so busy; then said he was sick; then he was in the hospital; and then he just went missing in action - couldn't reach him by phone, by email, by text....nothing! He had some jobs that he was suppose to be working on for us however those tenants never heard back from him since beginning of July. We typically "advanced" him money for materials which worked out fine but since the first of July, he owes us a couple hundred dollars that we will probably never see. He is a charmer and has some good stories to tell - hire him at your own risk!
