Had a gas insert installed about a few years ago. Unit stopped working. Subcontractor they use, AJ Bert, came out. Turned out to be dead batteries inside unit that we were not aware of. Changed batteries we provided, were here 5 minutes and charged us 145 dollars. Yes, we were told that was the service fee when appointment was made, but seriously? What has happened to giving customers an understandable break and service with honor, especially since they installed unit at a considerable cost. They did agree to reimburse us 50 dollars, probably their cut for screwing us. Have plans in future to install another fireplace and will definitely not use them. Also, beware of companies who use subcontractors
