Provided by YP.comI went to Tim's Bike Shop when they first opened in 2000/01 and today for the second time to buy tire tubes, grips, freewheel, chain and a sprocket for my bike. Tim was there, working on repairs. I worked at Bill's Bike Shop on Harper and Tim was our customer. He definitely pays attention to detail and has a good selection of parts and is constantly expanding. He has big plans for his shop and is planning to stay in the same location. That shows dedication and proves he puts a ton of effort into his work. As a business owner myself, I know that bad customer service and product selection can ruin a business. Tim's been there 17 years and is only growing. He wouldn't be growing if he didn't have good service and loyal customers. By the way, he had EVERYTHING I needed and spent about 45 minutes catching up and talking with me. I have no bias towards or against him, and even though I am a bicycle mechanic, I will be having him service my dad's bike and plan on buying a bike for my niece from him. I compared his product pricing online, He's very competitive and reasonably priced.

Provided by YP.comHe replaced the tube 3 times, due to flats on a new bike I bought from him, went out to ride it,tire was low so I added air, tire pressure says 40-65 psi,I was between 30,& 35 psi and the tube blew.bruised my arm, he put an undersized tube in tire. I needed a 2.25 tube he put a 2.1.75 in. Don't deal with the dishonest place.

Provided by YP.comI will most likely have to visit Tim's Bike Shop again for the second time to add or subtract a star. Bikes of all years and makes can get fixed their and hopefully improved. I need to know if my bike is worth fixing up and the minimum time it should be my reliant transportation before it gets totaled. For under $25 I was pedaling my vintage again. But it may cost unpredictably more than that to fix the tire and wheel.

Provided by YP.comGo elsewhere. I took a bike there last summer for repair. They promised it in a week. I went there to pick it up on the day specified and they "forgot" to even start working on it and had to find it in back of the garage. Then it was promised for a week later. When I went to get it a week later, I was told they could not fix it and that I should just buy a new bicycle from them. Very disappointed!
