Bryce at Hodgins has come to my rescue a couple times now. Having a couple rentals in St. Cloud, I have been hit with appliances going bad on moments notice. Trying to be quick, went to the "big box". And they can never deliver what I need within weeks. Bryce went out of his way to find a special sized apartment stove for me, and had it shipped from Atlanta in in just a few days. Outstanding job Hodgins.

Called 12/7/2015 was told it would be the next day before someone could check my refrigerator.(it was freezing my food) I was told it could be one of three things. About two hours later received a call from Adam saying he had some time open up and he could come after lunch. As promised he was on time. Adam was quite knowledgeable and diligent. He traced down the problem and within a couple of hours had my refrigerator working like new. The price he charged which included making a trip back to the store to pick up parts and taking my fridge apart and installing new parts was affordable. Most important was very respectful of my home. (left no mess for me to clean up) Saying this I will use Hodgins Home Appliance for any future appliance needs that I have.

I love this business. I've had units delivered by Lowe's and had to pay someone to install them and later uninstall them to take them back. Mr. Hodgins takes the time to sort through models and find ones he knows are a good cost-benefit to his customers. I've had the washer and dryer I bought in 2004 still working 11 years later, and part of it is because his son came out and serviced them for me so I didn't have to go through the agony of finding and installing new ones. :)

Came the same day we called. Polite, friendly service. Turned out to be a quick repair. Would recommend this business.

I will not use Hodgins ever again. I called for someone to come out because our dryer wasn't working. I spoke with an old man, turns out he is the owner. He asked what kind of dryer and proceeded to tell me not to buy chinese appliances. He told me that 9 times out of 10 it is the belt that needs replaced. He said he was just trying to save me some money. He said it was fairly easy to change out. When my husband got home he took the dryer apart and long story short it wasn't the belt, it was the motor. When I tried to take the belt back for a refund he wouldn't give me one. He said he couldn't give me my money back because people do that to try to diagnose the problems by buying parts and then returning them. I reminded him he told me it was most likely the belt. He still refused to refund me the money. Then he asked what was wrong with the dryer and I told him it was the motor. He said well we sell new and used dryers. I said I already bought one at Sears for a really good price. He wanted to know how much it was and what the brand was. Then told me I should keep the belt because the dryer I bought will break down someday and I will need the belt. I should have just demanded he send someone out instead of trying to diagnose me on the phone. Lesson learned.

My wife and I recently came to St. Cloud to help prepare my mother's double wide for sale. My mother fell ill while in her other home in Georgia and had not been able to return to the Florida double wide for almost 2 years, so we did not know what to expect. As we began to check the appliances we found that the washing machine did not work. We called Hodgkins for help. Within 3 hours of our call the repairman, Raymond, was at the door. Within an hour he had the machine fixed and running perfectly (a switch on it had failed). Raymond was very helpful and professional. I could not have been more pleased, especially since my wife and I were complete unknowns to them. So, I highly recommend them for appliance repair.

They are always helpful. One on one, not like big box stores. Yes, you may pay just a bit more but delivery and setup is included in price and also, what is service worth?

This is the best store to go to for anything you need to fix your appliances. Mr. Hodgins has a lot of knowledge and will assist you with professionalism AND he's FRIENDLY. That's a trait you don't see much anymore!! This is the only store I will go to for my repair stuff because he doesn't cheat you and his prices are very, very reasonable. Thank You Mr. Hodgins for being there for me!
