Essence Property Management has been awesome! Anna Marie's Alliance is a non-profit organization working to assist victims of domestic violence and prevent violence in our community. Essence has offered us amazing support in so many ways. They have donated items we need to keep the shelter going like toilet paper, paper towels, diapers, and personal hygiene items. They have donated funds to keep the lights on and the computers humming in the shelter. And they have donated time to volunteer, hold events for us, and support our work. Essence Property Management is an asset to our community!

thank you for making the building so much more quiet. Love the new carpet and how much better the inside of the building is. I actually came to school to study and learn - I will be staying next year!!

I live at North Campus Apartments on 4th Ave S. I have been here for 2 years. Last year we had INH property management and they were great. We never had any problems. Essence Property Management took over this year, and it has been awful. They have a tyrant for a security guard, he makes rounds every hour at night and if he can hear any noise coming from your apt. he will report you to management and they will threaten you with eviction. It has happened to us twice this year, and once it was only 3 of us in our apt playing video games. He has literally put his ear up to the door to listen to what we are saying, talk about invasion of privacy! 2 of our sinks have been leaking all year and they have done nothing to fix them. A maintenance guy came and jerry-rigged one of them using our hockey tape we had in our drawer. I have pictures to prove it. If you are a college student I advise you to look elsewhere. Its too bad, because this place is a great location and we loved living here, until Essence took over. We were planning on living here next year as well however we cannot deal with this any longer. We never had one problem when INH was managing.
