South Junior High School is a part of St. Cloud Area School District 742, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools. Founded in 1961, South Junior High School serves more than 780 students in grades seven and eight. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as math, English, science and social studies. The school also offers sessions in art, industrial technology, orchestra, choir, band, and health and physical education. In addition, the school offers foreign language programs in Spanish and provides the English Language Learner s program. It also provides medical care, speech communication, and guidance and counseling services to its students. South Junior High School is located in St. Cloud, Minn.
