Cain Vineyard & Winery, founded in 1980, is located in St. Helena, Calif. The first vines were planted in 1981, and its vineyard has grown to the production of three wines, including Cain Five, Cain Concept, and Cain Cuv e. The wines offered are blends of cabernet. Cain Concept is sourced from the bench lands of the Napa Valley, providing it with grapes that produce a silky wine. The company has cabernet sauvignon, merlot, malbec, cabernet franc, and petit verdot on a more than 540-acre ranch. The estate vineyard also plants five classic Bordeaux varieties, and a small amount of Syrah.
