Dr Tesar replaced my hips all those years ago. Now others tell me I need new ones!!! Being over 85 we questioned their judgment on that decision. After consulting with Dr. Tesar he strongly advised against it, stating that I would not survive the operation. He then consulted with the doctor that had encouraged me to take that risk. Dr. Tesar obviously sincerely cares about his patients welfare far more than most, he is one in a million. (P.S. My daughter agrees and so does the rest of my family.)
