While in St. Ignace, my family and I had heard from two tourists that Java Joe's was an amazing restaurant that they loved going to, and we figured we'd give it a try.



I beg to differ. We waited over 45 minutes just to hear from the waitress. When taking our order she couldn't even remember what we wanted. There was hardly anyone there yet the service was so slow it was unbearable. My coke was 99% water and whatever the one percent was, certainly didn't add flavor. The coffee was way too sweet, the hamburger meat was more like burnt unidentified meat from whatever animal they fished out of their toilet. You could tase the iron in their tap water and the waitress forgot to bring us our food even after it was done, so it had been sitting ready for a good 10 minutes, eventually arriving cold.



It was the WORST experience I have ever had at a restaurant. We left, paying them

Their 20$ for the crap they call "food" and left. Stay away from that restaurant if you want quality food and service. They also own Jose's Cantina, The Garden, and Mojo's Hotdogs.



If you want good food, go to the Galley restaurant, fast service, good food, nice workers.
