Saint James School is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and the Maryland State Department of Education. It is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools and the Association of Independent Maryland Schools. Founded in 1842, the school serves more than 200 students in grades 8 through 12. Saint James School offers advanced placement courses in various subjects, such as English, math, science and social studies. It also offers a range of extracurricular programs in art and music. In addition, Saint James School conducts foreign language programs in Spanish, French and Latin. It also supports a variety of sports activities, including basketball, wrestling, soccer, cross country, volleyball, golf and hockey. Saint James School is located in St. James, Md.
