Tha last of the real local banks. These credit unions claim to be on our side, but they are not. They claim to be non profit, legally; come on really? The big buildings and the high priced executives, non profit? Fact is, the profit is going to the execs and the rates to get you reeled in. Then the fees hit, the non personal communication and the junk starts. Edgewater is a personal bank, real people helping real people. They get it, they understand that not everyone is made of money and they are located in the community and the folks there live in the area too. Sure, they are not huge, not always on top of technology, but when you are not making money hand over fist, good things come in time. I encourage everyone to experience Edgewater, such a refreshing change.
