John J. Pershing Elementary School serves students in kindergarten through grade six. The school also conducts classes in art, music, physical education, library skills, reading, writing, science and computer applications. John J. Pershing Elementary School also supplies crayons, watercolors, notebooks, scissors, glue sticks and boxes. The school has a cafeteria that serves lunch and breakfast to students. John J. Pershing Elementary School has a library and media center that offers several books and encyclopedias and dictionaries. Located in St. Joseph, Mo., the school is governed by St. Joseph School District, which in addition operates elementary, middle and high schools.
