F.L. Skaith Accelerated School provides early childhood special education classes and multicategorical special education programs, as well as the regular education programs. The school has a staff of more than 50 full-time teachers that provides education to students from prekindergarten through grade six. It organizes various programs, such as gifted and talented program, mentoring, child care and guidance program. The school has a parent-teacher association that raises money by special projects for school improvement. It offers a variety of educational courses that include arts, music, physical education, computer application, speech and special education. F.L. Skaith Accelerated School is affiliated with the St. Joseph School District and is located in St. Joseph, Mo.
