Moved in May, 2018 from a 4500 sq ft home to a 3000 sq ft villa/condo home. Outstanding experience with Anchor. Very highly recommend this company. We were so pleased that our daughter and son in law used them in July when they moved. Very courteous and professional team (2 trucks, 2 men each) and the move was done in an all day continuous rain. No damages; no exceptions.

They are horible movers! They are not only late but they damage your property as well. They put my bed together. Ok fine. Not even 3 months later it starts tilting because it is not put together properly. I also noticed the damage to the frame

Anchor Moving moved my possessions on June 8, 2016. After the move I discovered that an item of mine valued at $1500-$1800 was missing and this occurred during the move. I filed a police report. The owner of Anchor has refused to recognize his responsibility for the missing item. I trusted Anchor because my real estate agent recommended them, but this was a mistake.

STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS. Not only did they damage walls in our brand new home, they damaged furniture and destroyed a stainless steel refrigerator that no longer works. They were so slow and would carry small objects one at a time. Lazy and unprofessional. Two of my sons even helped them unload and carry boxes. It got so bad I had to put all three of them out of my house and had them put the remaining items in my garage. They had a repairmen fix my walls but they did not except responsibility for my refrigerator or any of the other damaged furniture. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

I had an excellent experience with Anchor Moving over the weekend. The movers were so professional and courteous. They were there on time, were patient with me, moved everything perfectly and carefully. They communicated with me throughout the time at both residences with any concerns or questions. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Polite, careful, professional and fast. Definitely would use again and recommend.

They have the worst service and they damage your furniture. Nasty attitudes

Slow. Took forever. Took several smoke breaks. Broke my brand new 55 inch HDTV. Didn't take responsibility. Embarrassingly bad. Do not use.

Maybe it's because there was some snow on the ground, or maybe it's because they don't get as many jobs in winter and didn't need to rush our move, but I've never seen movers work so slowly. We ended up asking them to drop things at the front of the house so we could carry them to the proper rooms, just to get the thing done. We could have done it just as quickly if we'd called up a few friends.



Part of my disappointment is probably due to how highly recommended this company was by friends who had used them - in any case, we didn't have the A team and it cost us. I thought hiring movers was supposed to make it LESS stressful.

In hindsight, I should have estimated that we had more stuff than I thought we had, but the problem was we needed to give them an estimate of the number of boxes we'd have 3 weeks out from the move, when most of our stuff still hadn't been packed yet. We guessed way too low, so they were not able to get all of our boxes on the two trucks and we were left to move a bunch of that stuff ourselves, but that was our fault, not Anchor's. I wish that they could have sent someone out to our house to give us a better estimate up front, but they don't do it that way. That's the only knock I have against them.



As for the stuff they DID move, they did a great job. We were quoted one 35' truck, and they arrived with two trucks (about 22' each) and an extra man (3 total). They were able to get ALL of our big stuff (furniture and other large junk) on the two trucks, and they did it in less time than I was expecting. They were also very friendly, professional, and respectful, and as far as I can tell, they didn't damage anything(!!). And they did all of this at about a THIRD of the price that we were quoted by Two Men and a Truck.



So overall we were very pleased with their service and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good, local budget moving company.

I recently hired Anchor for a move, based on a recommendation from a family friend. He stated that they "busted @$$" during his move, so I checked them out.



Not only did they move everything quickly, they completed the move almost TOO quickly. I had someone helping me on my side of the move, whom the movers followed to my new residence while I stayed behind to briefly wrap up some business. That person had to call to inform me that the move was completed *before I had even left my former residence* to catch up with them. So far, I've not come across any damaged goods, either.



It should also be noted that they charged me exactly according to the estimate, and didn't try to pad the bill.

I would not recommend them. They are rude folks.
