I just had a birthday party for my two year old at this location. based on the reviews on here, I decided to give it a chance. I was very excited to have my child's birthday here because non the the children in my family has ever been to a live puppet show. The party was a disaster! Not because the puppets weren't great to look at...but because of the total experience.

I arrived at 2p with my family and was waiting for my husband to show up with pizza. Well, I explained to Doug (he's the rude guy and the only person that you will get to talk to) that he would be arriving shortly and he said that he would wait for him for a bit. A bit was like until 215p and we decided to go ahead and start the show.

Doug said nothing about cameras or photo's was not allowed, which prior to any show that is a good idea to say because now a days, that is what people do. He waited until during the show to say, " well I don't mind videoing the show, but do it now and then, but not the whole thing." My family was okay with that..and DID CUT IT OFF NOW AND THEN. I guess because he was busy with the puppets, he wasn't competely seeing what was going on, and later on in the show, he made another statement more personal to one of the ladies he said "Again, please do not video tape everything! Looks like you are just keeping yours going, please do not do that." and because he pointed her out like that, she became embarrassed. These outbursted hindered the mood of the show and even the kids became aggitated.

One of the parents had to take their child in potty training to the rest room during the show. Towards the end of the show, the puppet moose asked doug, did he like the audience...and he said "Well no, well yes, the ones who actually stayed in their seat during the performance". He said this at a 2 year old birthday party!!

After the show, doug started rushing everyone to come on grab plates so they will have time to eat. And I asked him why was he rushing my guest and he stated that I started late, so we didn't have a lot of time left. I really wish he would of told me that in the beginning, because I could have just started without my husband so my guest would have more time to enjoy. But I didn't know that I would be faced with a trade off like that. So I asked if we could extend it 15 more minutes, and he said for $12.50 but we have to hurry because he had something to do.....

This guys mouth is amazing and he has no tact at all. Maybe because he is older or maybe because he is just mean spirited. I payed $215 for this show, and provided my own food, and this was the welcome mat my family got. I really didn't want to pay him but I am God fearing and chose to do the right thing.
