Friend That Cooks Personal Chefs offer weekly meal prep for families with busy schedules, food allergies or special diets. We send a talented personal chef to your home for a half day every week to shop, cook, clean up and stock your refrigerator with a week's worth of delicious, healthy prepared meals to reheat. Friend That Cooks experience and efficiency makes us the most affordable service of our kind in the metro. We charge a reasonable hourly rate, plus the cost of groceries. The average family of four in St. Louis pays between $150 and $185 per week for service. Our personal chefs have a lot of experience with dietary restrictions and we have a dietitian on staff to assist chefs. Established in 2007, Friend That Cooks was started by food service consultant Brandon O'Dell. The service began as a part time job for Brandon to fill the time between consulting projects. Within weeks of starting the service, Brandon's schedule filled up with weekly meal prep customers and it was obvious Friend That Cooks would be more than part time. Friend That Cooks now offers service in 5 city metros, employing 14 local chefs, and is rapidly expanding into other parts of the Midwest.
