My experience with Dr. Partap was less than a year, but I can tell you all with absolute certainty that I had seen more than enough in one lifetime. My first appointment with him was brief..... though that could be because he was half an hour late with his other patients. Then, he started forcing my mother, who is not my legal guardian and never claimed to be, into appointments to the point where he refused to let me in to his office until I dragged her out of the car and into the waiting room. That was actually the same appointment he prescribed me a medicine in which the whole time he suggested it we were telling him that I had tried it in the past and it had given me panic attacks. He, of course, ignored us and gave it to me anyway. I took it for a few days and I had a panic attack. Who would've guessed? The final nail in the coffin that made me switch doctors was an appointment that happened shortly after a bipolar episode, in which he said I sounded 'scary', and asked my mother (who, keep in mind, HE forced to come with me to every appointment) if she felt safe driving home with me. I've never been back since.
