Accuracy is key in a complaint-some posted are not

Southwest Medical Center has been wonderful to me for the eight years I have gone there. When someone doesn't pay a bill they should not be able to come back to a business, maybe that is true for some complainers. And the 'shoulder that is ruined' couldn't have been done at Southwest Medical Center by Dr. Galanis, he is an eye doctor.

You couldn't ask for a better doctor

Dr. Pisoni has always shown a care and concern for me as a person first and a patient second. I feel completely confident in his decisions and recommendations. I would recommend him to anyone looking for an above average personal care physician.

They are horrible...

Try this one about good old SWMC...I have been a patient for SEVENTEEN YEARS, get that. 17 years and I pay a bill for my someone I am legally NOT EVEN RESPONSIBLE FOR and tell them I am not happy about it. I tell the supervisor of the building that the billing person hung up on me and gues what they did THEY DISCHARGED ME AS A PATIENT!!!!! After I have been a patient for all of those years these people just discharge me as a patient. I did nothing wrong except tell them I am not happy about paying this bill and they suddenly DISCHARGE ME!

SWMC has been going down hill for a couple of years now, I dont know who took over or what happened here but this place has been going downhill for a couple of years and this is just the icing on the cake now!

I wouldnt reccomend SWMC to anyone at this point because whoever is running the show over there is out of control and the nasty people in the billing department they can obviously do whatever they want to do and I am the one suffering becasue now my continuity of care has been interupted.

my experience

My experience was horrible. I am 21 years old, young yes but i picked up a bad cold/fever. My old doctor was Dr. King at Southwest Medical Center until he retired a couple years ago. Ever since then, they have lost my files, written down information that was false, said they called in perscriptions and i had to call the office back because they never did, billed me when i had paid, and made me wait in their office for 30 minutes past the time of my appointments. This last cold did it for me, i am no longer their patient. I went in innitially and took my antibiotics as said and they told me after 10 days of fever that i was fine and needed nothing else. I requested an appointment, knowing something isn't right, and they made me wait on the phone for 30 min before they finally transfered me to the wrong office and i had to start all over again. Someone who cannot speak on the phone should not be going through this. I am going to the hospital tonight because even i know that if a fever lasts for more than 10 days something is really wrong. This could have all been avoided with the proper care from the beginning, of which i did not recieve because of their office management.
