Might want to update the listed hours of operation. I drove 20 minutes to get there and hour and a half before the listed time above (8 pm) only to find them lights out and locked up. Hobby Lobby is still open and the hours are listed.l correctly.

The guy behind the counter sat with a customer for 20 min because they couldn’t decide on which r/c truck to buy meanwhile ther was a line of people waiting to purchase stuff and we were all ignored so I left and went to checkered flag hobby smaller store but more workers behind the counter I was able to go in get help and I was done in 3 min compared to Schaeffers hobby that made me wait 20 min for nothing

The staff could not be better on answering questions and providing wonderful, fun and delightful products. This is business like it was and always should be; family owned and treating each customer like family. I always start my shopping here first!

After a day of calling around to every train shop in STL, Schaefer is the only one with G-scale track! They don't have much G-scale items, but can order. They were SWAMPED when I was there, but that is a good thing! All be going there for all my g-scale needs!

I have been going to this craft store since they were down on Virginia Ave. They have everything you could possible want or need!
