Send your child here! Shaw Avenue Children's Center is a small, loving place where children, teachers, and parents are valued and treated with respect. Most of the teachers have multiple years and in many cases decades of experience working with young children. Thoughtful, dynamic curricula provide important educational opportunities for children at each age. Each month parents receive age-appropriate curriculum that take advantage of seasonal events and local facilities. Pre-science, pre-math, and pre-literacy concepts are emphasized each day. The Center makes the most of its terrific location on the corner of Shaw and Tower Grove; weekly field trips take students to the Missouri Botanical Garden and to Tower Grove Park. Our child has flourished at the Shaw Avenue Children's Center. He is eager to go to school each morning; he enjoys his friends and has learned so much from his teachers. We are grateful to have found such high-quality and affordable day care, and are looking forward to enrolling our second child shortly.
