Provided by YP.comi will start with the pros:
-rent includes internet, cable, washer-drayer, exercise room, parking, pool and game room
-the rehab loft experience is there
-there are storage units available
-next door to market
The cons are:
-items stolen from our storage unit (about $800 worth), and management tried to persuade us not to file a police report and they would not review the surveilance video to find out who took them
-The lofts were very poorly renovated - the tuck pointing was not done well (large pieces of mortar have fallen in our bed and baseball size pieces have fallen at other parts, they used cheap commercial grade carpeting for flooring, cheap commercial grade vinyl base board, horrible laminate floors in elevator lobbies, cabinets are made of maple veneered composite wood (paper veneer, not 1/16" veneer wood - so do not get them wet, they will swell), kitchen tile is cheap commercial grade vct, basically if you are in the hallways or view the apartments without furniture you would feel like you were in a dormitory
-Management takes a very long time to fix things (broken gates, elevators, etc)
-People allow their dogs to deifcate in stairwells, and no one picks it up
-They raised our rent if we renewed our lease, even when they were offering move in specials to others at cheaper rates and full months free.

Provided by YP.comThe property itself is a decent rehab, but management is seriously lacking. They make excuses & take many months to make repairs. Midland management is the property management company.

Provided by YP.comApartment units were nice when they were new, but after a few years of wear & tear it's obvious things were done cheaply in many ways, but maybe that's to be expected in most rentals? The walls & carpets are stained... trash and dog waste outside on the common areas. For a year or 2 there were issues with the roof leaking & buckets were everywhere, but I think they've finally starting to resolve that. Choose floors 1-4, though, just to be on the safe side. More than one person I know has had damage to things. Views are great due to large windows, but filthy windows have never been cleaned outside. Internet & cable are free but internet can be slow & only maybe 30 channels for the cable. Minimal sound barriers between apartments, so find a quiet neighbor! Maintenance staff is good... the cleaning lady is fabulous & deserves a raise, but management is one of the worst. They have a lack of concern for tenant issues, are sometimes hard to find even though they are on site during business hours, & seem either indifferent or defensive. Rents have increased steadily since opening... a 1 bedroom has gone from $815 in 2006 to $895 in early 2008. Electric bills can be bad depending on the unit you get... well over $150 during winter for a 1 bedroom. The fitness room & pool are nice. Great location right by the market, & good restaurant in the building. I've decided to search for another place to rent... that new place feeling is definitely gone!
