DO NOT BUY a car from this dealership!!!!!!!!!!!!! They sold my son a 2013 Escape with over one thousand one hundred miles on it and sold it as a new car. A car with 1,100 miles on it is used not new. They lied to him and took total advantage of him knowing this was going to be his first NEW car not a USED car. If he wanted a used car he could have went to Carmax and got a great deal on a used car. Do not bring your car here for service. The service department is totally incompetent. The mechanics are of bunch of hacks! ZERO STARS
ZERO stars. Spoke to the sales manager about the engines in 2013 Ford Escapes and was told by him that the engines that Ford Motor Company uses are "delicate and very sophisticated" and using any oil additives will void your warranty and cause catastrophic damage to the engine. He is correct I added 6oz. of engine Restore (1/2 can) it it caused $3315.17 in damage to the engine. $2657.50 labor $585.38 parts $27.98 miscellaneous $30.00 supplies. So if you want a car with a DELICATE engine that is UNRELIABLE and expensive to maintain they will sell you one. If you want a car with a well built engine and reliable then buy a GM Toyota Mazda Honda car or truck .

We were very satisfied with our new truck purchase at Sunset Ford. Picked up a new F-350 and have enjoyed it ever since. Minimal haggling and delivery went smoothly. Thanks

Honest From the Start! Sunset was the first place we stopped and the Internet Sales Manager Corey was fantastic. We didnt haggle, he gave us the lowest price right off the bat! We looked around at other dealers not realizing what a great deal he offered and no other dealership could come close. The customer service was amazing. You can tell they value customers at this dealership. Well done!!

I feel Sunset violated the NADA Code of Ethics in several instances when I traded in my car for a new Ford. Specifically they state on nada .org: At this dealership, the sales professionals will at all times...be honest and truthful when dealing with customers.” §§§ These violations occurred (1) before, in the mailed piece I received, (2) during the sales process, and (3) afterward when I came in as a disgruntled customer. §§§ (1) Before: The mailing I received contained a copy of a purported email from the owner of Sunset Ford to the sales manager, saying that he had a buyer for my car and giving the manager permission to give up to 110% of KBB value for my trade-in. Attached was a "handwritten" Post-it® note from the sales manager, asking me to call him. Based on the envelope, the phone number given, and an industry article detailing this technique I know this was not a personal note but rather a data-mined advertisement sent from California. §§§ (2) During the sales process: The Sunset Ford sales manager quoted me a much lower value for my trade-in than I had found earlier that day on KBB. When I questioned it, the sales personnel insisted their finding was correct and convinced me that I had made a mistake. When checking for my mistake later, I discovered I had not been in error. §§§ (3) Afterward: When I came back later with proof of the discrepancy, they refused to completely make good on the difference. Instead, they changed the condition of my trade-in from "Very Good" to "Good" and gave me a partial trade-in adjustment based on that reduced condition. §§§ (2 and 3) During and after: They repeatedly insisted that they could only sell my trade-in for around $16,500. Yet, they priced it at $20,185 on their lot. §§§ There were numerous other, less severe infractions as the salesman and senior sales manager attempted to explain their position by morphing what actually happened to a different version of events. §§§ In my mind, I should have received the 110% of the “Very Good” condition KBB value of my trade-in. This is the percentage detailed in the mailing and the condition we based the car's value on in my original agreement. They do not agree and knew I was angry about the revised agreement. The difference between that amount and what I received is $1,798. Despite the senior sales manager and me sending notes with my grievance to upper management (owners), I got no response from them. §§§ This is a supposedly reputable dealership with a long history and it is beyond disappointing that (a) they stooped to these levels in the first place and (b) refused to make good on their “mistaken” blue book valuation of my car. Needless to say, my family and I—as well as numerous friends—will not be shopping at Sunset Ford in the future.

Hated our experience with the Service Dept. We took our Explorer in to be serviced, and the mechanic told us that we needed a new transmission. Once we took it home, we had the same problems we brought it in for. It turns out the problem was the tires and not the transmission - after they charged us $4000. They are unwilling to admit their mistake or refund us any portion of the money we paid. They are slow to return phone calls and are absolutely terrible to work with and have no concept of customer service. I would NEVER recommend anyone ever use this dealership for anything because they are untrustworthy. Our entire family has been loyal customers for years, but will NEVER return.

I took my vehicle into Sunset Ford and I left very pleased. Everyone who I passed greeted me with smiles and warm welcomes. My vehicle was fixed efficiently and I didn't have to wait to long. The advisors were extremely helpful, answering any questions or concerns I had. I would most definitely recommend using Sunset Ford's services.

Great Dealership

Sunset Ford has been a family tradition for me. I have bought 6 vehicles and always been happy with the service, customer care and Price. I have also bought several Ford after market accessories of which the Sunset Service Department installed in my cars as though it came from the factory. Their location is very convient to highways which allows me to drop off my car quickly. When I am in a bind I have utilized their rental car program which has been great.
