I too am surprised by the rave reviews. Tokyo Sushi is way overpriced for the quality. Not only was I dissatisfied with the freshness of the ingredients, but also the rolls and portions were very small. There was way too much rice and seaweed and not enough protein and veggies (example: I ordered an asparagus roll and there was literally only one stalk of asparagus in the entire roll). The ratios and freshness were too far off to truly enjoy.



Another reviewer accurately compared Tokyo Sushi to Dierbergs. I actually don’t mind Dierbergs sushi when I want something fast and cheap, but I won’t be back to Tokyo Sushi. It’s just not worth my time and money.

I have had Sushi in the Ft. Lauderdale area in Florida and this just does not hold a candle to it. I thought it was overpriced and there were gnats flying around the restaurant.
