Provided by YPmobileI hadn't had mail delivery in several days. After calling the national customer service number and complaining twice to no avail, they referred me to Gateway Consumer Affairs. When I called them all they could tell me was that my case was active & gave me the number to the post office. I called and spoke to someone named Jeff who is perhaps the rudest person I have ever spoken.He was very impatient, took my number, and said he would get back to me in 5 minutes. So, I waited half an hour and called him back. He became openly hostile, saying that he was speaking to an employee and would call me later. I started to remind him that he said he would call me back in 5 when he interrupted me--I KNOW what I SAID! I will get back to you when Iam finished talking to this employee! Of course he never called back. I have never been treated so rudely by someone at a business. I was all freaked out because I hadn't gotten any mail in days & days and instead of an apology I get snapped at and ignored. I live in an apt building & later in the day I heard the mailboxes rattling (all of them are in one unit) The woman who was working on them told me that the unit wouldnt unlock. She was about as nice as the guy at the post office. What is it with University City Post Office. There must be a very unprofessional work environment there. I have read negative reviews about mail service here in other sites. Occasionally, the carrier will just skip a day or two of delivery. I've never seen anything like it. It is maddening! Next I will be writing the consumer advocate in D.C.
