Cowern Elementary School houses more than 400 students in kindergarten through grade five. It offers academic programs in language arts, mathematics, science, social studies and technology education. The school additionally conducts art, vocal music, and health and physical education classes. Cowern Elementary School also offers Title 1, English as a Second Language, Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E) and special education programs.
