STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY!!!!
John Duffy was hired by the widdowed lady we bought our house from in August of 2016 to fix one missing brick in our upstairs fireplace. She wanted to go cheap, so she went with this guy and he apparently sent someone who didnt speak english to do the work for him and all the person did was some tuckpointing mortering in the corners, which probably didnt even need to be done and completely missed doing the brick, which was the main thing we needed done and was included in the description of work done on the invoice. So, John charged this lady in her 70's $400 for probably 30 min of crappy work and didn't do what was mainly needed. Because we had bought the house even with the work not being done, I worked with the lady to call John and see when we could get him out to fix the issue. Now three months after he came to do the work the first time, its still not done and he wont return my phone calls. I literally have called this guy 30 times and he never answers his phone and on two occations, gave me vague times and days that he might come and never showed up and didn't return my calls the day before to confirm when he would be coming. John is a liar and a theif and you would probably be better off doing the work yourself than hiring this man. Stay away!!!
