great food but really bad customer service and small place

Food is wonderful, the floors could be cleaner. I eat here at least once a week.

If you've never had Ethiopian food before, don't start here. Compared to other Ethiopian restaurants in the area, this was way below par. Although the place definitely is family friendly and accomodating, service was unbelievably slow, the place was dirty (especially the carpet), and the food was mediocre at best. The lamb was all bones, the spinache tasted very bitter, the fish smelled and tasted old, and that is just for starters. We all got stomach aches and my oldest child threw up.



I won't completely cross it off my list because I like to support small ethnic restaurants like this. Hopefully they will read this review and improve. Eventually we'll give them another try, but it will be a couple of years.
