Saint Paul Open School is a learning center that is a part of Saint Paul Public Schools. In operation since 1971, the school enrolls more than 400 students in kindergarten through grade 12. It employs a staff of trained nurses, librarians, speech therapists, custodial employees and guidance counselors. Saint Paul Open School provides the English Language Learners program. It also offers meal and transportation services. The school also organizes field trips to various educational and cultural destinations. Saint Paul Open School offers Read 180 program, which is a scholastic program for seventh and eighth graders. It also operates music and theatre clubs.
