I was told before the start of our contract that Paychex would "take care" of the month's previous payroll and they never did. When I confronted Paychex about this I was informed that they didn't do that type of work even though their sale representative informed they did; my company was left paying a massive fine because of this "miscommunication." When our contract started I was told that I would keep the same payroll specialist the entire length of our contract and within a month I had someone different; over a 12 month period I had at least 4 different payroll specialists. At the end of our contract I spent a month and half with over a dozen phone calls and emails trying to cancel our account and yet we were still charged a monthly fee. No one at Paychex has follow-through or listens to the client's needs. Every step with Paychex has been excruciating and I do NOT recommend them to anyone.
