Provided by YP.comWe compared 6 different gyms in the St. Paul/Woodbury area before joining. We were looking for a non-judgemental gym. Woodbury is a young, judgemental & trendy and not very inviting for people looking to start a workout routine. The gym equipment is always clean, it is staff 24/7 and we have had no problems since joining 60 days ago.
Ben the personal trainer is okay. We had a session scheduled with him but when we arrived, he was out the door on vacation - no call, no email, nothing. Nonetheless, he took time out to get us acquainted with the equipment.
The gym has everything you need for cardio & weights! 10 Different TV's to watch, and the gym is super clean. The locker rooms are good and clean. One thing we appreciated was the honest feedback that despite all efforts, not everyone is a trusting person - even if you use a pad lock. That was enough to give us the hint and use the locker room/showers as infrequently as possible. This is definitely a beginners gym , a gym for those who know how to work out or those who just want to build the gym into a daily routine. They offer a few selected classes like designing a workout plan, yoga, cardio, etc. but if you're looking to do facilitated classes spin, body pump - go to the snooty gyms that charge way more. Planet Fitness will give you support and help when you ask! Thanks PF for helping me drop 15 pounds in my first 30 days!
