The City of Shoreview serves more than 27,000 residents and covers an area of over 7,500 acres. The city is responsible for managing nearly 1,400 acres of parkland and open spaces, as well as protecting approximately 10 lakes. It operates finance, administration, community development, parks and recreation, and public works and engineering departments. The City of Shoreview also manages public school districts.
