If your looking for a tow you might want to skip these guys. My wife needed a tow because her van would not start. I called Budget Towing to have them pick up the van. My mechanic told me it would cost between $70-$100 for the tow back to his shop. By the time the tow truck got there the van had started so we didn't need the tow. My wife told me about this and I told her to cancel the tow but she should pay the guy a little money for the trip out. When she got home she told me that the tow truck driver charged her $90 for the Service Call. I was expecting $30-$50 for just showing up. This is not the big part of the problem, however. The problem is that when I called to discuss the matter with the owner he would not take my call. I left a message. No call. I left another message. No call. Another message. No call. I left him 2 dozen professional and polite messages for him to call me back and he never returned a single message. It's bad enough that his driver over-charged my wife for a service call (no service was ever performed) but to completely blow off a paying customer. I would have understood if he would have called and said,"Sorry there is nothing I can do, that is our policy." At least the matter would have been resolved. Our experience with Budget Towing was preditory in nature. They took advantage of my wife and the owner totally ignored me. Car problems can be aggravating enough without dealing with a tow company like this.
