EmailConvent of the Visitation School is an independent Catholic day school for boys and girls in Montessori preschool through sixth grade and a college preparatory school for young women in grades seven through 12. It was founded by the Sisters of the Visitation in 1873. The campus includes a child care center for children 6 weeks old through age 5, a lower school, a middle school and an upper school. The school s curriculum includes English, math, social studies, science, computer technology, performing arts and foreign languages. It has athletic teams in hockey, swimming and diving, volleyball, tennis and cross country. The school s bookstore, called The Peddler, offers a variety of books and merchandise. Convent of the Visitation School is located in Mendota Heights, Minn., and is supported by tuition and endowments.
