Sold me a STOLEN PHONE!!

I purchased what I was told was a "factory unlocked iPhone" from World of Wireless. after using it for a couple weeks, I needed to upgrade the software in order for it to sync all the apps from my iPod Touch. When I attempted to upgrade the sofware by plugging it into iTunes on my computer, an error message appeared that said I had to restore it to the factory settings - I pressed ok, then another error message popped up. When I unplugged the phone, all that would come up on the screen was a usb icon and the itunes logo. I brought it to the Apple Store where they were able to tell me in about 2 seconds that the phone was reported stolen in Spain and still attached to a carrier in Spain. They were unable to fix it as it was now "bricked".

World of Wireless refused to give me my money back, they said they could exchange it for another iPhone- for a restocking fee!! I will never do business here again. They said they could restore it - and when I said that Apple said it was bricked and there was othing to be done with it- the answer was "Apple says alot of things..." and "since the phone was not reported stolen in the US, its really not their problem."

Do not go to this place for anything.
