Provided by YP.comI definitely recommend Barney’s for Sales! Unfortunately, for the finance department I would give 0 stars. Amanda P. was our finance rep. She was responsible for working up the payment, tax, title...this was a cash deal. She was super rude and I have no idea why. We didn’t want any of the up-sales (maintenance program, theft device, ect). Once we declined those, she was just simply rude. Absolutely no attempt to be nice and cordial. She was very curt and gave us a very difficult time with a personal check. She gave no explanations and acted as if we were bothering her. If we did not want/need our vehicle the very next day we would have walked out and purchased somewhere else just because of the way she acted. She should not work in customer service because she has no idea how make the customer feel excited or happy with a big new purchase! I thought maybe it was just us, but I saw other bad reviews on here about how she was rude. Hopefully the owners read the reviews because she would definitely make deals fall through. So I will still go to Barney’s but if you go make sure you don’t end up with Amanda closing your deal.

Provided by YP.comI've had nothing but great experiences with Barney's since purchasing my two Sea Doo Sparks two years ago. I rely on their mobile service because I did not purchase a trailer. They always respond promptly to my calls, and turn the service around quickly. Mike in their service department is especially helpful.

Provided by YP.comHad an appointment to take delivery of a new yamaha 242 limited E series, but that didnt stop the sales person Christopher embler to have someone else when i got there so it took us 1hour of waiting so he could finish with that customer, never even wanted to show me the actual boat i was getting, after multiple attempts of me asking him to show me my actual boat. He just points in the direction and says is over on the other side of the road if you wanna go look at it, NEVER showed me anything on the operation of the boat, also didnt tell me the boat came with no life jackets, no first aid kit, no emergency signals,no ANQUER?
First time ever on the water boat has a check engine light on, NO im not making this up. A check engine light, and only one of the engines was working and turning on, after multiple phone calls to barneys and Christopher the only thing i got was. Hey i will have someone call you on monday, NEVER received a phone call from anyone.
WORST EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE.

Provided by YP.comRequested a price quote for a new jet ski through their website. It took about 3 days for the sales person to finally get back to me and quote a price. I attempted to negotiate a better price and he said he had to check with his manager and he would call me back. It's been a week and I still haven't heard back from the sales person.

Provided by YP.comBarneys of StPete and Brandon both suck! Everyone needs to stay away. I was in the Stpete store ready to buy and I couldnt get on sales persons attention to help me, and there was plenty just walking around.
Brandon store was no different, I went there to purchase a used bike, when I discovered a bait and switch on the price the punk manager TJ basically told me tough S***. It wasnt until the Hillsborough consumer affairs getting involved until they then would sell me the bike I was looking at. Not to mention the "I dont need you attitude" from the punk manager. Claimed that he could sell this bike immediately, funny it was still there upto a few weeks ago.
So do your self a favor, go somewhere else, St.Pete Power Sports, Fletcher HD, or Clearwater Power Sports. Barney just down right sucks!

Provided by YP.com$210.00 dollars for an oil change and spark plugs. I called and asked to speak to the G.M. I asked right away how they justified and oil change and changing out the spark plugs and charging $210.00. That seemed steep to me. I had just moved here from somewhere else and was not happy about it. Dude started screamin at me on the phone. I apologized for using his business and told him I would not again. I am still shaking my head.....oh yeah , somebody did something to my clutch and it does not go into first until the clutch is almost all the way out. Would have loved to talk to the guy about it, but I don't deal with people who scream....Looking for an alternate bike shop in the area. Bye Bye Barney

Provided by YP.comA huge store means huge overhead, so expect to burn stomach acid when going for parts and service.
I was having problems getting my carbs off a '93 sportbike so took it in to have them pulled, a gas leak fixed and sync. job.
The first red flag was a jet ski owner back for his 3rd attempt (after already dropping $2,000) to get his water toy running right. "Third time is the charm" he was told.
The second flag was when I was told that they usually don't service bikes over 10 years old, but the service manager would take a look.
After over 30 minutes of waiting, the manager looked, said he couldn't take it because it was over 10 years old and the shop was too busy. I assume, if the shop wasn't busy with the new stuff they sold, they'd have time for the old stuff they didn't sell. Dang .... must be nice.
I was provided with the number and map of another shop to take it to. Called the shop, and it was a fax machine. Went back in to borrow a phone book or get the right number, was told to please wait, and after another 10 minutes with no one in sight, decided to leave. After a long drive I reached the recommended shop, it was closed.
After getting parts/tires there for the last few years, I've decided they need to spend the last dollars from me slowly.
It's time to find a reliable service department that can still work on something non-fuel injected, and spend my parts money there.
