Service Charges for Deceased Family Member David who died on Easter Sunday. BB&T Bank was notified in regarding the recent death but still continues to take out services fees. At the time of Dave's death, his checking account had less than $500.00 but it would have been enough to help bury him. Due to limited funds and our brother dying without a will, his only account started to have "Inactivity Fees $7.50 and also Maintenance Fees $8.00" deducted monthly. After contacting and trying to explain our situation to BB&T, at 3 separate locations and unable to reach anyone via telephone, his account is continually charged $15.50 monthly. If BB&T would return all Dave's money in order to bury him with our parents. Thank you for any help.
