Emhart Glass, a division of Bucher Industries and the world s leading supplier of machinery for the glass container industry, acquired ICS Inex Inspection Systems of Clearwater, Fla. The acquisition of ICS Inex, a privately-held company, took place in March, 2007. With the acquisition of ICS Inex, the Emhart Glass Cold End business unit has been renamed Emhart Inex. Emhart Inex will consolidate its manufacturing in Elmira, N.Y. Similarly, Emhart Inex s R&D and Marketing activities will be centralized in Clearwater, at the former ICS Inex headquarters. Emhart Glass is an international supplier of equipment, controls and parts to glass container industry. With broad-based expertise in glass container forming, glass conditioning, gob forming, ware handling, cold end inspection, refractory parts and quality assurance, the company's machines and systems are established as standard products worldwide. Emhart Glass also provides installation, training, production assistance, and maintenance related services. Emhart Glass was founded in 1912.
